Richard Dufresne, MSWRichard Dufresne, MSW is the founder {1992} and Principal of Alliance Consulting HRD. His work as a former educator, clinical social worker and organizational consultant has been to improve and enhance the effectiveness of senior leaders, managers, employees and work groups by providing customized consulting and training services.

In 2011 Richard joined The Wellness Corporation (TWC) of Shrewsbury MA. When at TWC he was the Vice President of Clinical Services and was responsible for managing and providing organizational development services to both the clients of TWC and Alliance Consulting HRD. Clients included Harvard University, Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University, Smith College, Williams College, St. Joseph Hospital, Milford Regional Medical Center, HP Hood, East Boston Savings Bank to name a few.

In 2013 TWC was acquired by E4 Health, Inc. At that time Richard became Director of Account Services and provided high level consultations and training to clients such as Whole Foods, Staples, and FM Global.

In October, 2015 Richard retired from E4 Health and re-opened Alliance Consulting HRD. At the same time Richard formed affiliations with several talented organizational consultants among them Jane LaPointe.

Richard and Jane have worked together for several years. Their partnership brings a breadth of complementary skills and expertise which enhances the services that its client companies receive.

Jane LaPointe, MBA, MLSJane LaPointe, MBA, MLS is a Senior Consultant with Alliance Consulting HRD. For over 35 years, Jane has helped business owners, directors, senior executives and management teams in corporate and nonprofit organizations improve their performance and the performance of their organizations. Jane partners with senior leaders and managers to develop strategic plans, integrate the tools of strategy into their organizations, assess and respond to changing market and competitive realities and strengthen their management and leadership so that their organizations have the capacity to adapt, sustain their mission and build the value that they deliver to their communities and stakeholders.

Jane has been a management consultant since 1978, first as an Associate with two Boston-based strategy consulting firms, Cambridge Research Institute and The Berwick Group. She was a founding partner in The Cross Partnership, a firm providing advisory and interim CEO services to closely held businesses and a partner in HumanKind Consulting providing strategic planning, perspective and context for organization development. Jane has also worked as an independent advisor and consultant to senior executives in the private and public sectors. She is now a Senior Consultant with Alliance Consulting HRD, working with Richard Dufresne to provide a complementary blend of skills and experience to clients.

Prior to consulting Jane was a school administrator and information specialist building school library resource centers in northern New England. This early appreciation for collaborative learning, education and discovery has remained an essential aspect of Jane and her work. Jane earned her B.A. from Merrimack College (North Andover MA), her MLS from University of Maine Orono and her MBA from Boston University.
